Welcome to the OGLE Collection of Variable Stars

This is a web interface for the OGLE Collection of Variable Stars - the largest set of variable stars in the world. The data come from the OGLE OCVS Download Site.
The main goal of this collection is to record all variable sources located in all fields observed by the OGLE project in the Galactic bulge, Galactic disk and Magellanic Clouds (LMC and SMC).

The following data are currently available for the selective database searches and light curve viewing:

Other types of variable stars (e.g. long-period variables, delta Scuti stars) with their OGLE-II and OGLE-III light curves are available in the database search interface of OGLE-III Catalog of Variable Stars or the Data Download site. See also OGLE Variable Stars page.

The catalog data include basic parameters of the stars (coordinates, periods, mean magnitudes, amplitudes, parameters of the Fourier light curve decomposition), VI multi-epoch photometry collected since 2010 (during the OGLE-IV survey), finding charts and cross-identifications with previously published catalogs. For all objects identified in OGLE-III catalogs, including those which do not have OGLE-IV data, the photometry data before 2010 is available as a hyperlink to the OGLE-III identification.

Use the links on the left side of this page (under Search Stars) to go to the query page for a chosen type of variable stars. You will be sent to a separate form where you will be able to browse the data using any set of criteria. The data can be downloaded separately for individual stars or for the whole result of the query.

Please read the News/Changes page often!

Any comments or error reports should be sent to this email.
